Most people agree the roster has talent. Dan has been hit and miss. The biggest miss currently is the lack of urgency with the QB room. Let's be real here. We aren't going to get to go up against Penix Jr and Tua every week. Even Drake Maye dumped on us. It's a marathon not a sprint. Sure. Eggs are still on the menu. This class looks good though, overall. 
Granted we have a low floor for making the field  so ‘grain of salt’ applies but it is higher this year. It will likely be higher next year.

Bryce was a Fitterer pick.  I do believe more could have been done to bring in competition.

No need to try to flex.  It's early and can't we just be happy to see some promise from our young players?  Rookie kicker looks legit, rookie TE caught the GWTD, rookie WR looks to be legit, undrafted rookie CB looked good in limited snaps, rookie edge looks legit and the other has potential.   This could be the rookie class we need to jump start this rebuild.

I am not ready to say that because we kind of perpetually stay in this cycle of looking for flashes, wishing and hoping.

Do I THINK they look better than our normal class to date? Yes. Am I gonna count those chickens based on general Panthers luck? Hell no.

I know that I want to keep seeing more of the young guys just to see what we have in general. That I definitely know.

Fair enough. I am convinced with Tet and Scourton surely looks the part. A couple more pan out it will be a great draft.

If we have two above average starters from the draft, it was a big win.

My hope is TMac is a WR1 (looks very possible), Scourton is a solid starting edge (looks also possible), Princely can be a pass rushing specialist (like a better, healthier Haynes), Fitz is our future kicker (looks possible), and Thornton can replace Jackson as CB2 next year (very small sample size but looks good). That would be a huge win and anything else is just gravy.

This year's draft is already looking much better than last year's.
