Literally the only time I see you post is to glaze Bryce Young. Nothing about Dowdle or the offensive weapons.

At some point you can just choose to hope your young QB succeeds. It costs you nothing. The Panthers have already paid for it for you. Just wish the young man continues to improve. It’s the fastest path to your favorite team being better. When he plays bad you can criticize his play on the field, but he’s made some special plays these last few weeks. It’s ok to find joy in that. Life’s too short not to.

Like it or not, the quickest path to a franchise QB for the Panthers is if Bryce Young becomes one. Shouldn’t that be what you want?

Doesn't Bryce Young have only 1 career win on the road? Let's see how he builds on this and go from there. More than anything we need to see him and this offense build momentum and stack wins when the games still matter. Because the defense to their credit despite the lack of investment on that side of the ball have kept the offense in the game. They even held Dallas to a punt and gave the offense the ball back to win it on one last drive. It's been a team effort. In that regard we have to also tip a cap to Dave Canales because he's taken flack too maybe even moreso than Bryce Young. And last but not least Rico Dowdle is having a historic season so far. Most yards by a Panthers RB in two consecutive games. Clearly the team is rallying around one another. That's what we've wanted to see.

Just now, Mr. Scot said:

So the Mrs and I attended both of the previous two games (even though I was sick as a dog last year) but we weren't able to make it to this one.

Does this mean I was the problem? 😕

No other explanation possible. Sorry, but we’re gonna have to ask you to take one for the team in the future.

Seriously though, last year I had an extremely bad reaction to a medication I was takng and had been sh-tting my guts out for days 😖

We still made the trip, but right up till a few hours before gametime I had decided not to go.

Changed my mind at the last minute only to sit through another dog walk.

Hell, even today I was feeling awful around the first quarter.

But things got better 😁

Such a hater you act like it physically pains you to say something positive without a backhanded comment about him.

He won head to head against a good offense, and a solid QB in Dak.  Just enjoy it.

Technically it was against one of the worst defenses in the NFL. A defense that made Wilson look elite again.
The last time he played a good defense was New England and he looks horrible. Bryce had benefited playing bad defenses these last two weeks and again next week.
Bet he won’t look so good against the Bills though.

    • I'm not looking at any of those as a good choice. Willis is a pass and Jones will probably get a contract offer in Indy (and should).  Now, work out a trade for Mac Jones and I might be intrigued. The two best QB factories right now are SF and LARams. Grab someone from their benches and you get a quality guy from a prior high draft that might be reaching their potential. Everything else is a crap shoot at best.
    • Nijman wasn’t terrible. But I wouldn’t describe his play as good either. I think he’s still best suited as a swing tackle off the bench. And unfortunately Brady Christiansen cannot be relied on given h injuries as well   We should resign Nijman, but we need to bring in someone else either in free agency or the draft to give us an alternative in the event he doesn’t perform. Free agent options are pretty bad unless there are some surprise cuts, so the draft is probably our better option.  With our overall needs, would be nice to shore up the defense in Round 1, but if the value that’s there is in a LT, I think you have to seriously consider that. If Ickey returns and can still be effective, I think you can move him or the new LT over to RT since Moton will likely be retiring in the next couple years.
    • The moving goal posts for Bryce both ways is wild. But for the most part, this place is overtly negative. First, it was he didn’t show flashes at all of being a #1 pick: he’s done that for sure. Then it was he cannot throw the deep ball and we want to see him take more shots: he’s done that and gotten much better with his timing and accuracy on deep shots. Then it was he can only win with a dominant ground game getting 200+ yards: we haven’t had a ground game since October, he pretty much carried the offense and almost took down the Rams. I get it, you didn’t want him and think he’s too small and weak and nothing will change that. But holy hell give the guy a break. “31 other starters can do what he’s doing” You put a statue back there like Stroud and see how many sacks we give up in that playoff game. I’m not saying he’s a top 15 qb but there are flashes to what he can be if he continues to improve. The disrespect to saying he’s a bottom 5 qb is wild lol
