Best Offensive Talent Ever?

Recommended Posts

Not trying to be hyperbolic, rare I know on this site. But I was thinking outside of QB, IMO this is one of the most talented Panther's offenses I have ever watched.

And before you get emotional, I said talent not best performing. I know some of you will say that the first superbowl team with Steve, Mushin, Davis, Foster, Hoover, Proehl, Wharton and Gross on the O-Line, etc. is better and I would agree. But I think this team, talent wise could be right there.

There is a case to be made with the offensive line, our RB depth, TMac, Coker, XL, and then Tremble, Sanders and Evans at the TE positon that the talent is there.

Thoughts?

The fact you’re even questioning this just shows how terrible of a franchise we’ve been since day 1

Wr’s outside of TMac (who drops balls way too often) and maybe Coker are ass

TE room is utter ass

OL, run blocking solid. Pass blocking crappy

RB’s: dowdle is solid. Chuba nothing special

Dude...

We are literally the youngest team in the NFL and have been to more super bowls than 9 of the 32 teams. I would say the Panthers tenure in the NFL has been a model of success.

Browns havent even been to a super bowl for example. We are tied for most super bowl appearances in our division.

Panthers problem is they cant sustain success, but we have always had talent

How are we the youngest?  By what metric?

The OL as a whole is as good as any we've ever had. The tackle tandem is definitely our best ever. The receivers overall aren't great but outside of Smitty/Moose/Proehl we've never fielded a great group of receivers. T-Mac looks legit for sure. The TEs aren't great either but look serviceable. Chuba-Dowdle is our best RB duo since DeAngelo-JStew. Overall, yeah it's one of our better overall offensive supporting casts.
