Gostisbehere will be out tonight and Legault will be making his NHL debut against Vegas. 
Miss Ghost but great to Legault make his first NHL game. Fun times.

Next 3 games will be brutal. I'll be happy with 2 or more points out of the 6 possible. 

There were some horrible lapses during the Kings game and that 5-4 and 5-3 PP was enough to throw up over. Just atrocious.

Keys to a Canes win vs Vegas:

1. Defend well against scoring duo Eichel and Stone

2. Stay out of the box, Vegas has 2nd best PP in the league at 37.5%.

3. Score on the PP for a change, canes are currently at only 11.8%.

4. Score goals big time. I’m optimistic in 5 on 5.

The PP has looked horrible since Svechnikov was pulled and out on line two and then it took an even bigger hit losing Ghost. 

Svechnikov is the best player on the team on puck retrieval and keeping a line going. That first line needs some grit and it doesn't have any to me.
