The interest and discussion is fine, once this turns into "THIS IS THE NEXT FRANCHISE QB HERE TRUSTMEBRO!!!" is when they lose me.

He isn't good. At all. He is an upgrade to our existing PS QB, at best.

And, no, after 4-5 years as a starter here he isn't going to become Baker Mayfield in his mid-30's.

I have been here a long time and we had long threads about practice squad qb's well before the current situation.  Most NFL fans are qb obsessed.

Absolutely. They didn't have a full offseason with us and they are just simply not NFL roster caliber players. PS level, yes.

I get being frustrated with Bryce. I am too. I get being upset with not having a better backup than Dalton. I generally disagree but I at least understand.

But pining for XFL/UFL/CFL caliber guys....this is the poo I don't understand. Nor the pining for Fields or other various examples of CLEARLY non-NFL caliber QB's.

Just because we are bad at QB doesn't mean we should literally start spamming every single available body at the position until we get a good game. I honestly believe that is how some of these people here would operate.
