interesting podcast. Did my best to summarize

1  none understand why rico isnt getting 100% of snaps

2  dalton  is seasoned veteran  and for this game, could he more of a challenge for bills than young   Better arm and   Familiar with  mcdermott defense.  Has seen everything    Impressed with Tet  and Panthers do not have bad receivers and impressed by size

3  not impressed with bills passed game and Allen is being held back because of it. bills do not seem to have a consistent vertical  passing game  as in past.   No intermediate More Short passes for YAC and that hurts Allen    Could be to control pace and tempo of the game given the bills defensive weaknesses    Need intermediate to stretch zone defenses

4 bills have several returning from DL from suspension this game on defense that could help

5  atlanta beat bills offense by  blitzing  and played ton of man coverage.   No structured intermediate passing game for bills   Bills had no answer for atlanta defense either blitzes and man to man coverage    Rushed 5 or more on over 30% if Allen’s drop backs

6  compliments the panthers defense   Up and coming but has issues. Last in pressure on qb   Last in DVOA and coverage of TEs

Why is this educated outside observer saying a lot of the same things many Huddlers get called a hater from the stans for voicing? I'm just confused. Why is Greg Cosell such an obvious Bryce hater? I've been assured that anyone voicing these types of takes are nothing but blind Bryce haters who only want to see him fail.

Bryce clapped Penix cheeks, Penix clapped Allen's cheeks.

Dalton got clapped by practice squad players and thin air in his most recent outings.

It's a football game, not a boxing match. Trust and believe no cheeks were clapped by 121 yards and 0 TDs. Our defense dominated Penix and the Falcons offense. Our offense had 224 total yards.

It’s funny when people choose to perceive the game as an individual sport vs a team sport. It seems like some people flip between perspectives when something doesn’t fit their narrative about a player or team.

That was an impressive level of QB implosion that happens once, maybe twice every couple of seasons. There's bad luck, quicksand, or a swan dive into the vat of whatever fugduggery he found that morning.

It's almost like it depends on the quality of the individual performance. Claiming a QB "won" a game when he threw for 121 yards and 0 TDs while the D pitched a shutout and produced more points than he did is bizarre.

What about his 300 yard 3 TD game vs cardinals we lost?

Yeah he did great and the team lost that one for him. Ungrateful bastards.

And who is that fool saying washed Dalton has a better arm? The internet, now anybody with a web cam thinks they can be an expert.

some of you are  projecting your insecurities. I haven’t seen anyone wishing Dalton to fail yet many do want Bryce to fail so he gets benched or traded.

I sincerely hope Dalton plays great and has enough left for a game or two like this because we need him. I will never root for my team to lose or any Panther player to fail.

Same can’t be said about many Bryce haters.

cheers

The one where he piled up stats against soft zone D while we were trailing big from the hole he dug us with his turnovers and then he immediately folded like a cheap suit when we recovered an onside kick and the refs threw multiple flags to carry us down the field and we actually shockingly had a chance? Just making sure we're talking about the same game.

Oh but if he won the game than game winning drives  would still be a fake stat lol

    • Just as we won those close games we could have just as easily lost them. So the jury is out on if we were more lucky than good ( see the sweep by the saints) Were moving forward on paper. And how badly dont we all want to see us back to at least Above average form. Its about time.
    • If you're looking for a pat on the back it sounds good in theory until you realize they also had the 2023 Panthers as the top draft class.
    • Going into the 2003 and 2015 seasons we were supposed to be the joke of the league each time. In 2003, John Fox was supposed to still be in rebuild mode. We had a guy named Peppers on the defensive line who was supposed to be pretty good. We had Rodney Peete as our starting QB and a line that was a lot of hope and not much experience. Our new running back was a guy the Redskins, errrr Commanders, had jettisoned for being too old. We had a good kicker and writers thought that was needed because there were going to be more field goals than touch downs. Heck, it looked like they were right up until just before halftime of that first game when we had to yank Rodney Peete and put in some Cajun duded whose name couldn't be pronounced. And Steve Smith? He wasn't Smitty yet. Moose Muhammad, well, he was close to being written off as a bust. You know how that turned out. And then in 2015, we had Cam Newton, who was electrifying to watch but hadn't really won anything yet. There was an offensive line in front of him that looked like it was made in a defunct Swiss cheese factory and our big hope on offense was the great Kelvin Benjamin. And then he got taken out for the year with a knee injury in training camp. Ted "Feet of Lightning, Hands of Stone" Ginn became our default go to guy beside our next best hope, yeah, Devin Funchess. Our defense was pretty good, a scrappy bunch with frikkin' awesome linebacker play and a cornerback who had done more than drank the Kool-Aid, but had snorted the powder. He played like a superhero and became sort of a bat-man during the season. By the Super Bowl he had completely lost his freaking mind, though, and managed to talk his way out of a contract with the team next year. No one was expecting us to win the NFCSouth that season, much less almost go undefeated and into the Super Bowl. So, 2026? Who knows? But our best seasons came when no one had a reason to believe in us, except us.
