Completely agree, it’s been weird from the start. Especially the Schefter report about him not playing even if he was healthy. If he was the “guy” he’d play if he was healthy, we were 4-3 and this could have been a huge win to silence the doubters (he wouldn’t have won). That’d be like the bengals having burrow be healthy and they don’t play him (I’m not comparing Bryce to burrow, I just mean QB1 for the team)

David Newton actually makes a good point for once. Why would you let him come back as a full participant after missing all last week in the wet grass while it’s raining, knowing he has directional issues with that ankle.

Unless, he never did. (I said that part not Newton)

What’s the chances this puts Dalton on “IR” and the panthers go get another back up before the deadline. They still haven’t put Christensen on IR for his Achilles and the Giants have been working out QBs despite having Dart, Winston, and Wilson on the roster.

If the Panthers were a serious franchise they would have already released Andy Dalton. But no we only cut guys like DJ Johnson to send a message.

I just found it interesting. Low chance I know but idk why they would workout Jaren Hall with those 3 unless they were planning on getting rid of Wilson or Winston soon.

I agree with you, you must certainly cannot play dalton under any scenario this year at this point.  Whether bryce is injured or just plays poorly he cannot be the backup.   Hmmm, feels like something a ton of us were saying we was resigned.......for 2 more years.

Let's just speak plainly. We aren't on the Tepper's payroll. Walks like a duck...quacks like a duck...it's a duck. This is the path of the decision makers for better or worse.

Let's get him out there in Green Bay and see what happens.

According to Joe Person, Moton is expected to play, but Mays is not.

So looking like:

LT- Ekwonu

LG- Lewis

C- Corbett

RG- Zavala

RT-Moton

and then Samac (C), Curhan (G), and Nijman (T) as back ups

Hope Bryce starts practicing rolling out to the left every play in practice for this Sunday...

I guess thats maybe a good sign that DC knows he aint it and wanted to see what the offense looked like with a stronger arm.   I mean thats all I got because he was ass in the Jets game

2023 and 2025 "injuries" looked like clear choices by the coaching staff simply not to play Bryce for the week under the defense of "injury".

Both times Panthers have had him up on his injury the entire time he was hurt with no signs of it being anything outside of standard wear and tear.  Everyone is banged up.

Why?  Who knows.
