our D withered 2 turnovers from the offense, including a backbreaking one right after they forced a turnover on downs to get us the ball back down 3.  They gave up 17 points and if the offense could literally do anything that was a completely winnable game.

Horn had 2 terrible slips that cost the defense 14 points, and STILL they only gave up 17.

IMO this is the offense - which comes down primarily to Bryce.  Icky also had a couple of blown blocks but Bryce just sucks

Not getting another qb on the roster at the trade deadline is unforgivable. This team could bave competed this year for a playoff spot. Now they're going to win some games 3 to 0 to get to win 6.

I was called a bad fan when I said that winning games by overcoming Bryce's putridness was a bad thing. That's because it was in the grand scheme of things. You can't keep winning in this league with putrid QB play. Somehow duct taping together a respectable record allowed the Panthers to keep up this charade act of pretending Bryce was an NFL QB. Had he played like this while we were losing games but being relatively competitive I honestly think we would've made a move for an NFL roster caliber QB at the trade deadline but now that opportunity is past but somehow pulling out wins allowed them to keep pretending.

the funny thing is we don't even need amazing QB play to win... Our D, despite the 2 turnovers, only gave up 17. Not their best performance, no, and Horn's slips sucked, but this was a VERY winnable game with even a mediocre QB performance.

This is a good team with just a good backup level QB. Literally just give us an NFL roster caliber QB and this team is in the wildcard race at the end of the year.

Bryce's play the last 2-3 weeks hasn't even been at a backup level. He's been *atrocious*. He got completely exposed today.

I honestly don't think he's backup level. It won't surprise me if once we finally give up on him that he bounces around a couple of camps and is out of the league. He doesn't have an NFL QB skill set.
