Think what you want, but as was pointed out, when X was actually targeted, he caught nine of 11 balls. How that translates to being "clearly" a bust doesn't quite translate under the circumstances in my opinion. Again, Chris Lea in the other video, said X is getting open "a lot" if you actually study him on the All-22 video.

I don't need to think it, XL made it a reality. This is the same BS that people said about TMJ amd Mingo. "Oh if they just had a better QB!"

Well, our rookie WR doesn't seem to be struggling like that, now does he?

Think maybe that is because one is an NFL WR and the other is a PS caliber player?

Possibly, but possibly not...

I am over XL. If he turns it around somewhere else in the NFL a few years from now, good for him. But I have seen enough to believe he is never going to be more than a barely roster eligible player.

I might add, that I'm not the only one that sees McMillan's growing frustration. He's doing well, but he's being held back, just like every other receiver on the roster.

Of course. How could you not be? Bryce is wildly inaccurate far too often.

TMJ 3 years 808 yds 1 td

Mingo 2.5 years 585 yds 0 td

XL 1.5 years 678 yds 6 td

Not comparable

I am well aware, especially considering how many more targets XL has gotten in that timespan.

Hence why I have apologized to TMJ and Mingo so often.

They're all in the same ballpark as far as targets, Marshall a little less, Mingo a little more, so no need for apologies, X is still arguably more productive. Targets aren't the greatest indicator though, and they're certainly not representative of an overall picture. Just saying.

Yes, XL's 28 ypg has been so productive.

So glad we didn't take Ladd McConkey with this level of production.

You're preaching to the choir about Ladd. People got upset when I posted the thread about our drafting error. Remember? Got plenty of 💩, but hardly any🥧

All I'm saying is that the Bryce effect is more profound than people may think. I gotta see X with someone else before I close the book on him.

I am over him. I certainly hope your faith is rewarded but I have seen enough of these bust Panther WR's that he looks exactly like what I am used to.

I don't know that any receiver is completely blameless.

Can't say much about a "Goober" vibe, because I think all of the guys in Raleigh that talk Panthers are much more on the money than anyone else, ESPN or not. Donnelly also played QB (can't remember the school), so he has some inside knowledge about this stuff. Donnelly, Dennis Cox and Chris Lea feel the pain and call the bullshit. Adam Gold isn't a fan, per sé, but he's just as analytical and criticalm

He goes way too hard and is completely full of himself. He is an absolute overly dramatic goober in the typical ESPN way. I agree the people closer to the team in CTL produce even lower quality content. Just exhausted by the 'if I get louder and more dramatic then I'm doing it right' shtick.

Tet is a rookie and I haven't seen many negatives personally and truely holds to the 'have to wait and see what that full package really is' becaude he is basically the working crutch of the passing game and that was figured out weeks ago.

That’s not entirely XL’s fault. With Ladd being thrown to by Bryce it might have been 45 ypg for McConkey.  Bryce has thrown for less than 200 yards in 5 straight games.

XL vaulted on the scene being a down the field jump ball threat that could catch slants and take it to the house. Bryce is good at neither of those things.

Bryce doesn’t throw it to the middle of the field unless things break down ( he can’t see) and you already know about his noodle arm.

I don’t think XL will ever be a star but I think he will find a role in some one’s offense due to his athleticism.
