So, after Sunday's game does that mean we're stuck with Bryce for the foreseeable future?

It took Bryce 2 1/2 , almost 3 years to do what Cam did his first  fugging game.  Yet , he's the second coming of Tom Brady now.  Will he be decent,  probably,  will he be dominant stud, doubtful.

Can you win a SB, with him??? If the answer is no, then you have to keep looking,  that is ghe ultimate goal is it not?????

Cam didn’t win a Super Bowl either, what’s your point?

Poo , all you want, but damn.. This game done cemented Bryce as Panthers Qb for atleast another 3 years...

Bryce apologists will state this game in the annals of time.  Do I hate Bryce,  no , but reliving the last 3 years for another 3.. will probably lose me as a Panthers fan...

I hope he can be who fans on here think he is. I'm glad we won, but at what cost to Panthers future?

IF YOU HADDD ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUUUSAAAAAAND!!!!

I know we give BY a lot of credit for Sunday, but the reality is it was as much a coming out party for the receivers as it was for the QB. They made clutch catches and actually gained YAC. Their development is just as important as the QBs to the passing game. This is a super young group and they'll only get better. Anyone saying how much the team has done before the season to make BY look good is being disingenuous. This was going to take some time to gain chemistry as soon as Thielen was traded. This is who caught passes Sunday:

TMac - rookie

Mitch Evans- rookie

XL - 2nd year project player

Coker - 2nd year UDFA

J Sanders - 2nd year

Tremble - vet that's mostly considered a blocking TE

Tremayne - 3rd year UDFA that caught exactly 1 pass for -2 yards before coming to Carolina

Dowdle - first year with the team, and he's a RB

Chuba - RB who is not a natural pass catcher and needed a lot of work to become a somewhat viable receiving option

Potential is there. But this is not a great group to start the season with. Particularly for a young QB coming into his 3rd season. Either way BY has to figure it out and fast. This team has been much more patient than a lot of teams would. Even if you're dealt a bad hand.

If Canales can get Young to consistently play closer to this version than the 50 yards in the first half and 124 yards a game version I'll sign up for it.

Definitely want to see how he looks with the murderous row schedule we have remaining, in the thick of the playoff race let's see if he can elevate his play and this team down the stretch.

I’m fine with 150 yards a game if the Panthers are winning. The yardage isn’t important to me so much as the result.

Id still like to know what the advanced metrics say about his outing in this game. Were the receivers making magic happen? Would another middling QB have thrown for 400 yards with 20 less attempts? That sort of thing.

He was sharper. It wasn’t all him with the YAC but he wasn’t impeding that like he usually does. If the ball to Legette wasn’t in the end zone, there was a lot of YAC there. Right in stride.

At this point my thing is, can he do it when it isn’t Atlanta? He has a horseshoe up his butt with them lately.

The team has done a lot to make Bryce look good. You list the receivers but let's not forget the most expensive offensive line in the league that's also got its LT on a rookie contract.

Are the receivers all pro or pro bowl caliber? With the exception of Tmac possibly making the pro bowl depending on the rest of his season, no. But that doesn't have anything to do with hitting guys in stride Sunday which is something he hasn't really been able to do all season. 250YAC is crazy. It's why guys like Tyreek have always been so deadly at near full speed when it hits their hands.

I think if Bryce can do that with much more consistency, and we have the occasional real deep ball or 30 or more to keep safeties honest, Bryce could turn the corner and so could some of the receivers.

4th quarter touchdown pass with 4:47 left against the jags week 1 to make it a two score game, in a hole he was largely responsible for.

I forgot he was benched against the patriots.

cardinals was pure garbage time. Once they decided to play defense again it was…rough….on the guy. Again, playing from a home he was largely responsible for.

Literally brought it to a one score game against Arizona, a failed final drive doesnt cancel that out and make it garbage time.

So you have one (1) touchdown after yapping about all his stats being garbage time. You are the #1 contender for biggest idiot on this board.

Bryce has plenty of flaws and can be a very bad qb, but your hate for him is legitimately weird. The weird personal stuff you say about the guy is weird asf

    • He was so much fun to watch as a player but is a prototypical example of the old "never meet your heroes" adage. Great player, not a great guy.
    • Look.... if us BY "haters" give credit about his GWDs...... Will the BY stans also have honest discussion about the 55minutes before the last 5 in which BY has put up 9/20 for 78 yards 0 TDs???
    • The way they are handling now is how they should have handled it from the start instead of that you get a series, you a get a series. Let Chuba spell until he had some of his step back.  We definitely could have put a better showing against Buffalo and their weak run defense had we employed the same game plan we did against Green Bay. Saints were determined to stop the run and make Bryce beat them, Atlanta had similar plan and the coaches and Bryce were able to respond.  Rico although didnt have the best rushing game was vital in the passing game and his catch and run help get us into the redzone there at the end of regulation probably should have been a touchdown that out of bounds was a judgement call it wasn't conclusive and thus should have went with the original call on the field.  Roco brings that dawg to the offense that it shorely lacked up until Miami game. Interesting it was his call that help seal the win for us, glad the coaches were listening. Hope they can get a deal done and run it back next year.
