when your heroes become your haters lol.  Drake Maye, after using the Superman to be tribute to his childhood favorite QB, declines the Superman pose in some pregame theater.

personally, I think it's sort of funny.  It's all fair game for clicks and PR/attention.

Cam’s comments about him and the patriots were 100% right though. I can’t remember a team with an easier schedule in decades of watching this sport. I can’t even remember a schedule even as close to as easy as the pats this year

Hence why I am not a Pats believer. I know they spammed the free agent signings this offseason but let's not forget they were a very strong contender for worst overall roster in 2024(only slightly better than us).

I believe the postseason will show who they truly are.

true but easy schedule or not it's a NFL schedule.....the youngster is putting up great numbers.  Generally, with players that young, the but it's an easy schedule card isn't played that hard.

I don’t get what everyone is so butt hurt about, cam didn’t insult Mayes mother. It’s cams job now to analyze and critic nfl play, he gave his opinion on maye. Cam being Mayes favorite player shouldn’t make cam instantly start glazing maye. He gave him props on the game against us earlier this year and I’m sure will give him props if he continues to play well. He doesn’t hate the kid, they all need to grow up.

Ehhh we will see kind of ironic coming from Cam when the 2015 Panthers were "they aint played nobody"

.9 isn't exactly 'no comparison" lol lol lol

They both play weak schedules....

Bet drake would jump on this though...

I am gonna say at that low number .9 represents a significant difference.
They have the NYJ and Miami patsies to play twice a year, plus play a last place schedule. Which the Panthers actually played a 1st place schedule in 2015.

PS yeah he ain’t ever living down not going after that ball. Too bad he never got to go back and redeem himself. I feel like he was over confident that game, that whole week. And likely would have had a different outcome if he had another chance.

    • I see the issues with Tyreek, which is why I put an asterisk on him and all the way on the bottom. I don't even see him playing at all this entire year since he hasn't even been seen working out at all. But I do not think he's as hard to play with as Stefon Diggs is IMO and Tyreek is more of a game changer. But either way, it's pie in the sky.  Always loved Keenan and he is from the Carolinas so that's really the only thing that may interest him playing here if no one is giving him any calls to play.
    • It's not that I'm not rooting for him to do well, but I'd be lying if I said him having a good season wouldn't scare me after what we've seen out of him so far. I'd be afraid of it just being one of those situations you see all the time, a player is in a make it or break it season, they somehow raise their level of play to new levels, and then proceed to immediately drop back off a cliff the next season (although this does usually happen in contract years, not a player trying to not get cut). Now, if you tell me that no matter how well he plays, we're then going to flip him for a draft pick in the offseason, then yea, I'd want him to go off for a monster season so we can get a better return.
    • Helllllllllllllll no on Tyreek, not even on a vet minimum and if he was playing at his peak abilities. We have way too young of a WR room to bring that head case into the locker room, there is just no way I want him around any of our WRs.  The things that make him great aren't things that can be taught, they're his natural born athletic gifts, so there isn't anything useful he can teach our guys and would just be a bad influence on them. Same goes for Stefon Diggs. Allen I'd love, he'd be a great mentor for T-Mac and Coker, but I doubt he plays anywhere other than with the Chargers or a legit true SB contender this year (and only small odds on the latter there, likely Chargers or nothing I'd guess).
