Just so you know: In todays game, only one penalty was called against the Rams, while seven penalties were called against the Panthers.

Something is wrong with ths mighty wrong, in my opinion.

The breakdown of penalties is as follows:

The Rams: 1 penalty for only a total of 5 yards. The single penalty was a delay of game late in the fourth quarter.

The Panthers: 7 penalties for a total of 70 yards, some were penalty stopping drives.. One of these was the unnecessary roughness penalty on the opening kickoff that gave the Rams good field position.

that holding call on Mitchell was BS.  You could call holding on every play.  He barely altered his momentum. I thought it was very weak.

Not that it mattered, because he pancaked the dude. If anything, he was helping him keep his footing. Lol

I'm so thrilled for this win! Proud of Canales for staying aggressive, proud of Bryce for some clutch throws on third and fourth down, proud of Coker for making big catches, proud of Chuba for stepping up big, proud of Mike Jack for a pick-six, proud of T-Mac for making his one catch count, proud of Brown for being a legend on defense yet again, proud of the whole team.

Watching the highlights since I was working earlier, gotta say this was a good draft. Getting that kind of production pretty much top to bottom is how you build a good roster. T-mac obviously, edge rushers are not blowing minds but doing their jobs, then Evans, Jimmy, Ransom all contributing every week is something we haven't seen from a full draft class in my memory.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
