I’m pretty confident he will be a starter next season, safety is a tough position to adapt to from college to pro. Very promising to see him make plays, definitely more of a SS than a FS, which isn’t the best pairing with Trevon Moehrig. But it never hurts to have another great run defending safety.

The problem we have is that we’ve got 3-4 Strong Safeties and not a single Free Safety in the building.

Yes Ransom is a beast in run support.  Love the kid going forward.

That three consecutive plays he blew up Williams needs to be put in The Louvre.  I don’t recall the last time a safety got three shots like that in on one guy, in one series, nor consecutively.  Insane.  Love his physicality, and I think he’s got great potential in coverage as well.

Yea that was probably one of my favorite moments from yesterday. Williams wanted no part of Ransom after that. Sent his ass to the sidelines lol

I laughed when he called to come out of the game, homeboy didn't want no more of that.

Good point. I think we're ok at cornerback. We held our own against arguably the most explosive offense in the NFL with our best CB on the bench.

We have several guys that can play SS as you pointed out. We need a Ball-Hawking guy to man the FS position. We know these guys don't grow on trees, but it would be nice to find a guy with great instincts that is good in pass coverage and could get us about 5 INTS every year.

A hawking centerfielder is all we need imo, out secondary looks very very good IMO when you account for our bottom of the league pass rush win rate....

That last one had to have hurt. Very awkward angle the way his back was arched. Folks in the stands winced.
