I still want to know if a player has ever recorded both an INT and a lost fumble on the same play prior to last night. Prior to watching that play my initial reaction to such a premise would've been "*scoff* Well, that's impossible." Then Jalen Hurts was like "Hold my motherfugin' beer and watch THIS!" LOL

That was the first time in NFL history the same player has had more than one TO on a single possession.

Figured it has to be because it's so insane a thing to have happen.

That's like tracking whether a guy has ever fumbled by faceplanting in a teammate'a ass.

Remember when Mark Sanchez was a young promising QB on a good Jets team under Parcells?  The butt fumble became his entire legacy.

Well, until he got stabbed by a 69 year old man defending himself from being assaulted. Now he's the butt fumbler who was nearly killed by a 69 year old man while being a drunken asshole. Just when you think your legacy has hit rock bottom... LOL

He probably still has good arm strength. I'm sure he hasn't lost his competitive drive. I imagine he still has enough between the ears to not be a dumb player.

I'm in my mid-50s, not disabled or anything like that, but I can confirm that the knees and hips and shoulders and back are absolutely not the same that I had in my 20s.

Hope it works out for him. Maybe the AFC championship game can be between him and old man Rodgers.

    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
    • Absolutely. If we are talking about a 20 year old youngster. He's a grown-ass man, and he doesn't know what his job entails or how to do it? Maybe he will be better next year! It's the Panther way.
