Franchise QB Dominates

There's enough blame to go around today, for sure, but my contention all along is Bryce is never going to be one of those franchise QBs that can regularly put a team on his back especially when these types of sloppy games are unfolding.  He needs a complete team effort, including himself, for a victory. Even then 99.9% of the time it's a one score squeaker of a victory.  To date for his career, Bryce has had one, exactly 1, convincing victory and that was the Falcons game in Charlotte earlier this season.  That was a unicorn game where the Panthers could do no wrong and the Falcons did everything wrong.

Falcons game in Charlotte?

The only argument for Bryce not being to blame is that this is basically the expectation for Bryce. Bryce had a "good for Bryce" game. That's the problem. "Good for Bryce" isn't good enough and puts a TON of pressure on the rest of your football team and the staff. The margin of error shrinks to nearly zero.

Just remember this is this same dude who said Fitterer just needed more time

I'm sure I could resort to pointing out prior takes of yours rather than arguing actual arguments if wanted.

I choose not to because I don't honestly remember any actual arguments you've made, good or bad. It's pretty much all been just responses to someone else's ideas.

Perhaps you can remind me of an original thought you posted? 🤔

Matt Rhule was a dead man walking going into year 3.  He wasn’t in full control and the GM.  I’m not rehashing your horrrible Scott Fitterer takes

I'd suggest uou probably should.

It'd at least be better than trying to make arguments based on a game you didn't bother to watch 😄

Bryce sucks.    Stroud good.   Go from there.    You will forever be linked to defending the worst gm in history.  Own that poo.

And the end result will be the same as it has been with now two different coaching staffs.

Probably so but this is the position the Panthers owner and front office put the team in

we say, they shoulda waited, they, shoulda drafted Stroud

…all of,that does no good in the world of cap, contracts and building a team

it will take at least one more year to remove the Fitterer, Rhule, Tepper stench that brought him here

I watched Drake Maye today and he could’ve been playing in Carolina but for lack of,patience

what’s the saying ‘if a frog had wings it wouldn’t bump its ass’.   Franchise does a lot of unnecessary ass bumping.

No, I nor anyone here needs to ever listen to your horrific Scott Fitterer takes ever again. And you sadly still want to defend them it seems

we got your present day horrific takes instead to painfully digest

Did I miss Hunt playing today? 🤔

"Yeah, we've had injuries but when we signed those guys we were considered to have one of the best lines in the league. Therefore, Bryce is bad."

Did that argument really make sense to you when you wrote it?

Come on, dude 😖

Likewise, "anything good he might have done is invalidated Bec he screwed up on that one play" isn't what I'd call solid logic either.

And again, Bryce actually does get credit for the part he played in our wins, even as a rookie when he was at his worst. I know you wanna spin some sort of logic that denies that idea, but it ain't working... and it isn't going to.

Your positions here from the very first post in this thread are all emotion based. It's not a good look.

As said numerous times already, I want toove on from Bryce just as much as you do, but you really need to make better, more logical arguments. These posts ain't it.

Do you like arguing with yourself, Scot?🤣. Because if you just want to create arguments and rebut those carefully crafted fabrications, I’ll step aside and let you have at it.

I haven’t said any of the things you typed back for the last two or three posts.  You are cutting and pasting things ransom note effect style that aren’t being said and then using that as a springboard to just restate what you want to say.  That’s fine.  Have at it, big dog!

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
