Bryce was sacked once. Shough was sacked 5 times. We beat him up all throughout the first half. His best RB was out. He still had the better performance.

Yes and yes but the Saints punted twice in the 1st quarter and then never had to punt again and they gave up 10 points in the fourth quarter. 

That with Canales calling a terrible game cost them.

Crazy enough, this is probably the most I have seen him blitz this year and I think it failed every single time. Usually our only chance at a sack is if DB beats the double team and gets interior pressure. Otherwise, the QB will have at least 5 seconds to throw the ball

When you blitz and leave the middle of the field completly wide open every time, it will fail every time. Don't know why he continued to call that blitz when it continously never worked.

Yeah, it would upset you. On 3rd down Bryce called his own number and lost. On 4th down Ekwonu lost by not being the low man and Chuba made the wrong decision. Both plays were there with a one on one matchup with TMac and an easier gap that was sealed off with half a step to the left and no defender in it. It was not the play calling on those 2 plays. It was the execution and awareness. Both plays were set up to be wins.

The only thing I could say Canales should have done was put Chuba in the 2 spot and Rico in the 3 spot to take the handoff. Rico has better vision with reading gaps and blocks than Chuba. I understand how Canales was using Rico as a decoy with multiple LBs keying on him in that situation, but I'd rather Rico in a short yardage run to seal the game than Bryce or Chuba running the ball and needing to win that last half a yard with much needed power.

Good QBs make plays and defenses can only hold teams so long. By no means do we have an elite defense but we could and should have won that game with better offense, even by a smidge

Only here and there. There is no logical discussion to be had about anything because everything just becomes about Bryce and how it’s all his fault. He played pretty well yesterday. I’d give him a B. No turnovers, great touchdown throw in a bad spot. Key conversions with his legs, did a great job avoiding sacks with crumbling pockets.

But we all just wanna make it about Bryce still. It’s so tiring. There are real discussions to be had about our head coach, defensive coordinator, offensive line. But no. Must poo on Bryce.

When a defense gives up a 12 minute drive that is really hurting the offense. The defense could not get off the field.
 

The offense had 7 possessions. Seven. They did not have many opportunities. We also might as well have spiked the ball every 1st down with the predictable run game.

I dont care what anyone says. Stupid penalties cost us this game. They were about to kick a fg on a 4th and 6 and we were lined up offside and make it a 4th and 1 and they go for it and get it and turn it into a TD. Hitting sliding QBs and giving them free yards, illegal hands to the face on defense giving them free yards and first downs. Division games arent going to be high scoring. They will always be close usually and these type of things matter.

We actually stopped them on that 4th and 1. It was just a classic infuriating Panthers game where even when we were up 17-7 you felt like it was only a matter of time before we figured out how to lose.

Maybe stop glazing him as a savior with the GWD stats - which is a team thing, and that attitude lightens up a little.  The poo doesn’t happen in a vacuum. 
 

What I see a fair amount of is people coming in trolling to get anti Bryce reaction started and then blaming the people who responded for blaming your boy.  
And on the weeks he does well, that trolling is done by over praising. And someone who disagrees is a hater.
