Probably right. I certainly don't see us beating the rams twice

Looks like a weak QB draft and that's their big need going forward. Penix regressed big time after looking promising as a rookie and now has to recover from a third ACL injury. They can't plan on him long-term and Cousins is 37 so that's not long-term either.

Agreed. Most of their fans blame VP RIch McKay or Arthur Blank for their fails. A lot of their moves under Blank's ownership don't make sense.

I remember hearing that Blank was blindsided and the Raheem Morris and Fontenot the GM were meeting with him to explain and plead their case. 
I don’t know if that is true - it sounds crazy - but I would have fired them on the spot if they did that without telling me. Meddling owner criticism be damned.

I don't buy that ATL would have been in the playoffs with Cousins all year. Cousins is the perfect "I'm good when I have nothing to play for" QB, he would have made many dumb game ending mistakes like he did the previous year
