I’m not excusing Bryce as the passing numbers were abysmal but it seemed like they were trying to play this game like the Rams game.

The interior line got beat today and Chuba/ Horn essentially cost us the game. This was totally winnable. Defense came to play and Darnold was in prime position to choke this game away.

What I wanna know is, if there were guys open and Bryce was too afraid to throw.

We cannot play flawlessly every game in order for BY to be able to squeak out a victory. This fugging guy, number one overall with three years under his belt, should be able to carry the team just occasionally.  Yeah I get it Horn and Chubba let us down, sometimes someone else needs to step up, now it’s obvious that BY is not that guy, he can’t consistently make downfield throws, doesn’t have the arm to throw across the middle even if someone is open. Reich and Canales know this. Meanwhile, the 11-4 fugging Bears are getting ready to play. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yep,  the formula to win with Bryce is just painfully tough.

To beat a legit good team? Requires a degree of perfection and the ball going our way

to just beat an okay team? It still requires so much on the shoulders of everyone else because his offensive output is low even in what we qualify as good for Bryce days

and that’s backup QB play

the sooner we admit the miss and move on, the better.

The bad thing is I’m not even surprised by his performance today. No one should be surprised.

A lot of us were waiting for it, it was just a matter of time before it would occur. This guy just doesn’t have the talent for the NFL.

If only we could build an offense around Big Time Throws.

The flaw in this, is that this is not an isolated incident. This isn't the only game where it has looked like this, and he has performed like this.

So yes, we were facing a top tier defense. I guess we were facing the best defense in the league with every loss though.

They did the same thing the 49ers did, and Saints did.. twice
