Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panthers History

Wilson only got 2 years. He was a backup going into year 3.  Easy to forget because the Aaron Rodgers era ….lasted a play lol.

Folks got way more time in the era Carr played in than today.  Joey Harrington would be an example.  QBs no longer are afforded that.  Well, one now is.

Joey Harrington had more turnovers than touchdowns in his first two seasons and never even sniffed 60% completion.

Bryce has at least shown some improvement through three years, and the team has gotten better each year.

FYI Bryce Young is sitting at 6.0 YPA for his career entering year 4. That's lower than David Carr just a hair under Blaine Gabbert and just a smidge above Joey Harrington.

Buddy needs to get the ball downfield or get to steppin.

Yeah, Harrington was an example I gave of a bad QB that got time.   You should of just left at that boss

what you are comparing them for? Different eras and times,  Harrington’s rookie year, league average was 59%.  League average today is 64%. Bryce didn’t get his above 60 until this year and is still below league average.   He and Harrington share that in common and you are highlighting it as Bryce being good lol.
They are both BELOW and behind the league average.

Bryce has improved and we are the 27th best O in the NFL thanks to his marginal improvement from horrific.  Go find a bad QB that got time…..and you would find people were claiming improvement lol.  They were doing it for Harrington then too.

The worst actual quarterback this franchise has ever committed to beyond a trial run or backup.

Anyone who hasn't reached this conclusion is in denial at this point.

I’m probably the 100th person to say this but you must be new here. Bryce has his issues but he is far from the worst. Almost no QB in the NFL could have won that game against Tampa with how our run game looked.

qbs win without run games all the time, especially franchise #1 picks.

Yes, Harrington is a good comp.

Show me a worse 3 year starter on any team ever.

Jamarcus Russell?
Jake Locker?
Christian Ponder?
Jay Fiedler?

There have been plenty. The hyperbole that comes from Bryce haters is wild.

It’s a great comp IMO.  He was bad, just like Bryce.  And the folks then kept saying the same thing…..if we can just add more around him he won’t stink.   it’s not his fault. Same folks were fixated on the most marginal improvement.   He had his big year 3 too lol.

they even have the same parallels of BARELY surpassing 3k for the only time in year 3.  Only Joey wasn’t in the passing era then and their career comp % are pretty comparable at the time if you factor the  era difference.

and we are trending very similar as that era of the Lions adding all the first round WRs trying to make the QB not stink

I see the same usual suspects spending their time sh!tty on the QB instead of being excited about the playoffs

If only these casuals weren’t too stupid to understand analytics and the game as a whole

No hate, those are good comps for Young though.

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
