I joked about this elsewhere but 40 mph winds, Bryce throws it it about 40mph. Don’t know how much chucking he should be doing.

I can see it now - Bryce trying to throw a 15 yard out route going against the 40 mph winds and the ball goes backwards 15 yards...

Jack of a few trades, master of none

Lol is there any way we can get this added to Bryce's scouting report from the draft.

Bryce Young

Strengths:

-Nice guy

-Likes to play 5D chess to farm game winning drives by looking like ass for 90% of the game before a random fluke late TD

-Jack of few trades, master of none

Weaknesses:

-Literally every fuging thing else

I was just thinking to myself how I'll know a lot about the gameplan by how we start, does Bryce let it fly etc. Then I remembered a thought I've had recently, Bryce could really do more damage with his scrambling ability.

There are a lot of times I notice Bryce if he committed to running would for sure get the first down, but he's still looking to pass. I think Bryce while not one of the great mobile QB's, can use it as a weapon and hurt a defense, he has had some impressive runs. This week where every possession is crucial, I think he needs to make his scrambling ability a true threat also, might open up the passing game a lot.

Not to be picky, but the 1st drive is scripted and is almost always positive. Sometimes we even manage a score on that first series. It is usually the 2nd and 3rd drives where the game becomes more revealing.

I get what you are saying though, I don't think that Young is capable of being a dual threat though. That doesn't mean he can't take off and run, but I don't think that is a significant part of his game. Maybe they will work it in more regularly.

Imagine a crosswind.  Ball would fly like a frisbee

I just looked at the hourly forecast, looks like winds will under 15mph.
