Many other coaches would. 11 total coaches have interviewed, Mike McDaniels will make it 12. #1 pick, a lot of cap space, pay raise, no state income tax, warm city.  People say this crap every year about teams, yet it never turns out to be true.

Only for us.

And then they'll be out of work in 1-2 years

Steelers completed a virtual interview with Panthers DC Ejiro Evero, amongst others.
The Steelers reportedly completed virtual interviews with seven coaches during the previous week, to include, Evero, Packers DC Jeff Hafley, 49ers OC Klay Kubiak, Chargers DC Jesse Minter, Rams pass game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase, Rams DC Chris Schula, and Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver. The team will also reportedly conduct in-person interviews this week for the select few that made it through their first round of questioning. More to come following the unexpected departure of Mike Tomlin, who had been the league’s longest tenured coach.

I do wonder how much input (if any) the Steelers have asked of Tepper's thoughts on EE. I know the relationship was kinda disjointed when Big Ballz left Pittsburgh, but for such a prestigious brand with a history of top notch coaches, I wonder if they would touch base with Tepps.

Hafley off the table.

I know for a couple years EE was the rumored highest paid DC and even his staff. He didn't get the same cheese after the worst NFL score blah blah tho,, but Im sure he's still in the upper air. He was getting bottom HC money with Reich all-star staff.....

If they want to know, why ask Tepper? WTF can he tell anybody about football?
Not to be harsh towards you, the thought of Tepper and football advice just don’t mix for me.  Ask him about shorting the dollar or something.
He might be a good fit though. They value defensive oriented guys.

I read a post from a Raiders beat reporter today, sorry can’t find it maybe one of you seen it. Anyways he said that the Raiders really like Evero, and liked him last cycle. They would probably hire him if it weren’t for the focus on developing Mendoza this upcoming season and the risk of losing an OC to a HC job after their first season together.

Edit: I didn’t see the one posted at the top of the page, it literally says the same one but isn’t the same poster.
