The guy was a journeyman here for a few weeks at year’s end. Probably brought in to be a returner or something. I barely remember him.

I remember the name mostly because of Eddie Murphy’s SNL pimp sketches. Which was Velvet Jones. I misremembered it as Venus lol. 

 I think the pattern is, journeymen brought in at the end of a season, will journey on somewhere else most of the time. So do most 5th round picks though.

My guy, the current trend is too add tweeners/positionless players, especially on D. The seagulls just won with them. Coaches don't want to switch out player like years before. That's where the Mccvay and Reid's are targeting. You can say the reason for Panthers going from 32 to 16 in ranks was dbrown, that true *but* right next to him for the reason is Tre'von Moehrig. He gave evero a weapon to move around- one that plays LB, NB, S, SS, and even blitz on any given play.

High character.  Smart.  Maybe, just maybe....

 

As a Navy veteran and always pull for the Midshipmen.  I had a chance to watch him in several games. Late round or UDFA.  You latch onto this guy.  He's definitely a Morgan type of guy.

about the same as urrbody else here, and nobody remembers Jeremy Chinn either. Yes, Seattle and other teams have deployed these versatile weapons. All I'm saying is we suck at it in Charlotte. That's a fair assessment

His stats pasted weird, so just know that its 2025 on top, 2024 in the middle and 2023 on bottom. I keep screaming to the heavens to draft production and this guy produces! Almost 1500 scrimmage yards last year, 1100 before that, and 600 as a freshman! My favorite stat? 0 fumbles! Hell, anything in the 5th round and beyond is just best guess anyway, not much to lose and a hellova lot to win.

A tweener at LB, DE, maybe OT, maybe WR/TE, something like that. A tweener at RB? It isn’t a one size fits all position. Look at all the different types and styles that have had success.
