Panthers LT Rasheed Walker “has been accepted into a pretrial diversion program that will clear a January gun charge from his record.”

Walker’s record will be cleared “if he avoids any additional arrests over the next six months.” Walker was arrested at LaGuardia Airport on January 23rd, 2026, because he reportedly lacked the required credentials to travel with the firearm. Walker evidently did not know he was committing a crime when he presented the firearm for inspection. He is licensed to carry it in the state of Wisconsin, which apparently led to Walker’s confusion.

nothing burger, but it does seem like it may have scared teams off and we finally got some luck going our way.  still wish we could have gotten at least a 2 year deal at that price

Yea when teams see a gun charge they rightly pause but this seems like a big misunderstanding.

I enjoyed this, from a Packers  perspective. 
 

I think people are getting out over their skis on the enthusiasm over what we actually will get. I mean, it was a great move that we needed to make, but I see people talking about no falloff, there are high expectations.  
 

This guy isn’t sugar coating, but it isn’t necessarily all bad either. On the level of Walker’s play, he takes the view that it has fallen off, but has played very well before. I guess it epends on which one shows up, and I am hoping the old ‘change of scenery’ benefit could be in play.

He took a step back in '25, but his '24 numbers look really good.  We still need a OT in the draft.

Said he was just horrible in the playoff game vs Chicago. And yeah, down the whole year. 
But was excellent maybe 2023. We have to hope for that guy to suit up. 
 

and yeah I am for sure on draft OT. Depth is non existent.
