Which side of the ball needs more help?

Bryce is better than Darnold between the ears? Really? I would love to see Young go into a new team with a new system and go straight to the Super Bowl.

He is nowhere near as developed as Darnold is. He has only seen two very similar systems. He has quite a ways to go to catch up to what Darnold has been exposed to and had to absorb.

Not to mention that Darnold is bigger, stronger, taller with better field vision and an arm that can attack a defense pretty much anywhere on the field.

That is my opinion of course.

I think as long as BY9 is QB our offense will be lackluster.  Our defense can make up for this by being dominate.  Plus as a Panther fan who is used to having stellar defenses, the product we have put out there the pas decade makes me sick

The defense probably needs more help because it has a couple spots which are probably more true holes, but it really isn’t that simple.

offense is inherently more valuable-it’s more expensive, the rules favor it, it’s harder to come by certain skill sets. Guys like Sadiq or Concepcion theoretically allow this team to do stuff it just doesn’t have the personnel to do right now. Then there’s OT-you’ve got one guy under contract behind this season, question marks with your LT, a class that’s uniquely fertile in our spot for options, and the skepticism that you’ll have an opportunity to take one next offseason if you’re picking later in the draft.

they can’t stand pat at a couple spots on defense, but that doesn’t mean they cannot acquire those positions elsewhere.  The offensive spots are much harder to come by when not using a 1st rounder.

Defense and it is not even close--not even based on last year, how we have recently drafted, etc.

On D, we could use a starting FS, LB, and DT.  Depth at CB.

On O, we need our future LT and possibly RT, but neither is likely to start right away.    Center?  depth and maybe next year's starter.  Starting TE.

I swear with pcikett added, this HAS to be a bottom 3 draft room. Id take raiders over Panthers, about the only two Id say are lower Jets? Cards? that's about it. There's around 4-5 other groups in the talk, but Ive seen 3 years of BY and even a Murray or Sanders or Ward feel like a better options than Pickett or BY....

Im Soo happy about the other position group and the draft picks, then I think of the QB room and
