2026 Win predictions from DraftKings

Recommended Posts

7.5 wins against a 1st place schedule ain’t way off. Even with 5 17 game seasons in the last 8, we’ve managed to max out at 8 wins. We still haven’t been over .500 since 2017 and there’s a question as to why we’re expected to win 7.5 games?

I'm more surprised our odds to win the division didn't really improve that much after free agency (like +380 -> + 320). I threw a few hundred on us to win the division again at +425 back in February, just because I figured Atlanta and Tampa would get worse.

After our free agency, I am still surprised Tampa is the favorite to win the division.

I would say over at the 6.5 line but until we see the schedule next month it would be tough to see 8+wins as it stands now

Nah, 10 wins this coming season. NFCSouth crown a second time, modest run in the playoffs.

Tampa Bay is going to crumble.

New Orleans is a couple of years behind us on the rebuild, but they've got a good young QB.

Atlanta is a rumbling wreck.

I guess I could see it if we got breaks, but we got the breaks this year and it was still 8 wins.

Also I dont see TB crumbling, they are a competent franchise that hit the injury bug last year

I dont know what to think about NO so theres that.

Atlanta majorly upgraded at coach so there is always something to having a competent grown up leading a team.

I think TB will be a good deal worse talent wise next season.

  • Evans and Dean are big losses for them.
  • Losing White hurts also because the dude was really good on screen and swing routes; I like Gainwell, but 2 small RBs is an odd mix.
  • Lavonte David retired (Alex Anzalone was a sneaky good free agency signing for them and probably their only good one).
  • They still have no pass rush and their secondary is a mess now without Dean.

Tampa might win the division next year, but they are going to have to outscore teams to win. I think they have one of the least talented defenses in the NFL. Outside of Vea, Anzalone, Winfield Jr., and maybe Diaby, their defense consists of a bunch of JAGs

If you weren't always predicting against the team, I might pay more heed to what you're saying. But man, I just refuse to step in the turds you're dropping.

At some point, especially in the off season, you've got to give yourself a chance to hope.

    • Ehlers needs to sit. Definitely can't lose him to a meaningless game.
    • Bet didn't hit because the referee missed 3 clear corner kicks. I had a 5k parlay that would have been alive tomorrow if he didn't miss those calls as well. Super annoying
    • I don't think it's at all a given that we have players who are good at driving the basket. I guess that depends on your definition. Bridges is 43rd in attempts in the paint Miller is 64th and LaMelo is 66th. We all love to see the lob threat but it's largely miniscule at this point in time. There's gotta be a solution here if LaMelo is to be the centerpiece because this is simply not sustainable if we want to continue to ascend. If he can't drive to the basket then that means we need to add another player to the core who consistently can. That would require moving someone like Miles Bridges. And that's certainly not going to be popular with LaMelo but something has to give here for what we are investing and we need to maximize guys like Miller and Knueppel on rookie deals while we still can. The three chucking is fine when it's working where the issue comes into play is there are no adjustments when it isn't and we just go into a shell and begin to look like the Hornets of yesteryear. That's why the offensive evolution of all involved is critical to us taking the next step. Getting to the play in is nice but we should have our sights set much higher. Right now though they need to take care of business against the Heat. All I ask is that they at least beat those fools. I cannot stand the Heat.
