I LOVE the King pickup

2024 UGA vs Tech: In Athens. King: 303 passing yards and 2 TDs. 110 rushing and 3 TDs. It took UGA 8 OTs to go on to win 44-42, but King was the star. That dude is tough as nails.

Dude has the heart of a lion and exactly the type of player Dan has said that he wants. I could really see him making the final roster.

I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person.

As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.

If I was a defense I would immediately be more concerned about game planning against this vs BY lol.

Former LSU edge rusher Patrick Payton has accepted a rookie minicamp invitation from the #Panthers, a source tells @CBSSports.

Before LSU, was a standout and All-ACC selection at Florida State. The 6-5, 260-pounder finished his college career with 143 tackles and 17 sacks.

Any idea what happened to him at LSU?

im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….

was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .
