I know this is drunken draft hope talking, but I hope he's got 20% KK, 30% Jenks, and 50% Star like I see him against weaker players.

He killed the senior bowl and why on earth did his agent let him do drills if he had the numbers of handicapped person??? Glad he did, cause without that poor showing, I think after seeing banks and woods getting picked....hunter is better or the same player.

I'm going to be so happy if he can be Jordan Carstens but with a longer career. Carstens was one of the country strong guys to ever play for this team and he was a monster at tying up the center of the field. Injury and illness (I believe it was kidney issues that finally sidelined him).

If we can get that guy, we can do a lot.

Honestly, though, I just want him to be so good that he becomes the next benchmark for us at the position.

Brother check out some of his senior bowl matchups

He was labeled as not good at stunts and pash rush, I seen it different. I seen some KK in a NT frame. His long arms are key too. Bad for hecht, I believe Hunter personally hunt his stock. He has other senior bowl stuff, honestly he should have quit, he just did whatever he wanted against those OLmen. No one outside a snap or two slowed him down and he was doing moves unseen before because he was the blob for TT. I seen some playmaker traits against those senior bowl OLman...beside the "big 12" pointless.

Wow, if he does that against the best in college ball, and can bring it to this level... Well, I'd hate to be a center lined up across from him. Especially if I see Brown is crowding in an eating up the guard support.

Lee Hunter dropped weight for the Senior Bowl and Combine and it benefitted him greatly - he was far too top heavy in College. He was playing NT (and overweight - like Scourton during his last year at Texas A&M) for the benefit of the team.

I don't think he's naturally big enough to play as a 3-4 NT like Cam Jackson who actually carries that weight well.

I think he's a 3-4 DE in a similar mode (although not as powerful) to Derrick Brown.

    • Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.
    • Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.
    • I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
