I thought Svech has played well overall.  I’m not sure what the sleeping Jarvis and Aho have been up to.

Jarvis needs the other 2 to be on their game to succeed. I've not seen any fire from Aho save the couple goals in the last 14 games.

It’s time to breakup the aho Jarvis line. Those boys are poo. Esp aho. Sebastian aho may be the worst in his head player on the ice.

Only reason to not do it is the other 3 lines are mostly playing well together.  Definitely don't wanna break up line 2.

Aho ghost and Freddie were trash. I’m tired of arguing with dumb ass people

Aho I agree with. Freddie was meh - it would have been nice if he stopped one of the goals he allowed, but all of the goals are pretty much difficult saves that were the fault of our turnovers behind the net.

Ghost is what he is - a puck moving, capable scorer damn who is not very good defensively. He usually relies on Boom and our forward line to help him out.

Aho and Jarvy (and to a lesser extent Walker and Miller) were the biggest no shows tonight. Staal line + chatty/Slavin were the only reason we didn't lose by 3+ goals

I think Vegas is too good for this team to overcome a completely absent power play, average goaltending, and the disappearance of the so called franchise players. This feels like the Florida series all over again with the aggression and offensive firepower on the other side. We blew through a bunch of young and inexperienced teams in the East who didn’t know how to respond to pressure or adversity. That isn’t a problem for Vegas obviously.

Slept a on it and I still don’t feel optimistic. I think this game may be the close one. Us being gifted 2 goals by Ehlers made the game look better than it was. After the first period Vegas dominated. Game wasn’t as close as the score said and counting only the normal goals we would have lost 5-2.
It isn’t will Vegas score it is when.
I don’t know what adjustments we can make. PP isn’t going to happen and the Aho line is going to suck. Both have been the same through the playoffs. We are going to have to win without them. Which is going to be very difficult against Vegas.
I think there is a very real danger we will be swept.
Rod needs to find something because if we lose game 2 it is over.

I slept on it too and no show Aho is on full display. Dude literally pulling the team down.   This actually maybe the worst he has ever played. Playing worse would actually mean he is playing. This is a whole different thing. He flat out sucks ass at hockey.  Freddie should have been pulled. He has to make two of those saves. Can’t and will never win with that kind of Freddie. I have no clue what happened to the defense. Ghost was unbelievably bad last night. My hope is Rod gets them going.

Finally verified my account lol

Aho/Jarvis def look rattled to me. Jarvis may have re hurt that shoulder after that fall he took against the Habs. We also didn't hit anyone last night, there were multiple opportunities to lay someone out and they didn't take them...looking at you Janko, Svech, marty, even Staal had some golden chances. Jankowski has to be the softest big guy I've ever seen play the game LOL. I think the boys will adjust and be fine!

Overall the Canes need to clean up the defensive side of the rink and they'll be alright. Can it and move onto Thursday!
