Players reaction

I have no idea, I mean I think its because they are part of a union that decided to leave? Meaning vol. quit? You can't get unemployment if you quit correct? I dunno just guessing...

Union laws are different from state to state though. A Jet player might can't, but a Falcon player could maybe? Anyway it would depend on the player. If Bum ass Clausen did it nobody would care. If T.O did it.......well...just lol..

The players are not very bright. By the time this is over they will be replaced by younger, faster, stronger players and the NFL will move on. I can't say I feel sorry for any of these greedy people.

It will vary by state. However the two things that will hurt their cause (at least in NC) will be:

(1) - You are actively seeking work. You must apply to a minimum of two jobs per week.

(2) - You have lost your job through no fault of your own.

How will it no fault of their own when the union decertified? NC is a right to work state, correct? Being part of a union that essentially walk away from negotiations in a right to work state would mean they are at fault, correct?

I know SC is a right to work state.

I just dont understand how they can fall behind a guy that wants to bust up the union and make this whole year about the court room. I would demand he get back to that table and reconvene the negotiations.

For that matter when we get back to football I hope we put Brees ass in the dirt 10 times a game for his bullshit. Yea you didnt ask for more money but your not help us fans out either.

De Smith won't have a job after this is over unless he manages to rape the owners and the season still goes on with plenty of time to workout with the teams.

bad idea getting a non-player to represent them. i miss upshaw. this De SMith dude is a turd.

fwiw, i do think the owners were at fault for this whole situation and the players few requests were reasonable, but the players got the wrong guy representing them. owners had come back with a pretty reasonable option giving in a little, but no...De Smith has to pull this crap an hope it makes him relevant.

reminds me of george costanza...

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
