Not forgetting Vick at all. He was drafted in 2001, and is more of a mobile QB than a pocket passer. He will have some majore injury problems later in his career.

P.S. I hope this is not a ranking, but merely a list.

Yeah, it is really hard to rank them. I took the same list approach.

I'll do you one better. I'll rank the full 32 :D

(Note that before you flame, I considered the age of the player in 5 years, where the might be in their development, and how good the team is on average)

First I looked at every teams current depth chart and tried to determine who their starter might be in 5 years assuming no roster changes and no injuries. Here is that ranked list:

1 ….. Rodgers ….. Packers

2 ….. Rivers ….. Chargers

3 ….. Ryan ….. Falcons

4 ….. Rothlisberger ….. Steelers

5 ….. Flacco ….. Ravens

6 ….. Bradford ….. Rams

7 ….. Stafford ….. Lions

8 ….. Cutler ….. Bears

9 ….. Freeman ….. Bucs

10 ….. Manning ….. Giants

11 ….. Sanchez ….. Jets

12 ….. Kolb ….. Eagles

13 ….. Whitehurst ….. Seahawks

14 ….. Schaub ….. Texans

15 ….. Henne ….. Dolphins

16 ….. Brees ….. Saints

17 ….. Cassel ….. Chiefs

18 ….. Clausen ….. Panthers

19 ….. McCoy ….. Browns

20 ….. The Golden Calf of Bristol ….. Broncos

21 ….. Hoyer ….. Patriots

22 ….. A. Smith ….. 49ers

23 ….. Romo ….. Cowboys

24 ….. LeFevour ….. Bengals

25 ….. Edwards ….. Jaguars

26 ….. Gradkowski ….. Raiders

27 ….. Brohm ….. Bills

28 ….. Skelton ….. Cardinals

29 ….. Webb ….. Vikings

30 ….. Simms ….. Titans

31 ….. Grossman ….. Redskins

32 ….. Painter ….. Colts

Then I projected the top 5 qb's from the next two drafts (2011 and 2012), moved the best of the displaced players, and updated the rankings. Changes are in bold.

1 ….. Rodgers ….. Packers

2 ….. Rivers ….. Chargers

3 ….. Ryan ….. Falcons

4 ….. Luck ….. 49ers

5 ….. Rothlisberger ….. Steelers

6 ….. Flacco ….. Ravens

7 ….. Bradford ….. Rams

8 ….. Gabbert ….. Panthers

9 ….. Stafford ….. Lions

10 ….. Cutler ….. Bears

11 ….. Freeman ….. Bucs

12 ….. Jones ….. Redskins

13 ….. Manning ….. Giants

14 ….. Clausen ….. Colts

15 ….. Sanchez ….. Jets

16 ….. Barkley ….. Raiders

17 ….. Locker ….. Vikings

18 ….. Kolb ….. Eagles

19 ….. Newton ….. Bills

20 ….. Mallet ….. Titans

21 ….. Dalton ….. Cardinals

22 ….. Whitehurst ….. Seahawks

23 ….. Schaub ….. Texans

24 ….. Henne ….. Dolphins

25 ….. Brees ….. Saints

26 ….. Cousins ….. Jaguars

27 ….. Cassel ….. Chiefs

28 ….. Pryor ….. Bengals

29 ….. McCoy ….. Browns

30 ….. The Golden Calf of Bristol ….. Broncos

31 ….. Hoyer ….. Patriots

32 ….. Romo ….. Cowboys

Wow. You're a much smarter football man than I. I certainly didn't see anything (yes, one year...blah blah) that leads me to believe he will even be in the league 5 years from now.
