Such a great episode from start to finish. I have to say, at this point, I have more faith in the show runners to not disappoint than I do GRRM himself.

The LOL moments with Wun Wun rag dolling that guy and then Gregorstein bashing the pisser's head were awesome. Tyrion's dialogue was awesome, as was the release of the dragons. Ramsay is ruthless. Euron has arrived and his dialogue was awesome. And then that ending...

The Bad:

still not a fan of the Euron casting choice- this is what I pictured him looking like:

The overwhelming good:

probably one of the single best episodes in GOT history, so tightly knit and so many things happened. So many fan theories confirmed. Tyrion might actually be the third head, Euron killed Balon, etc.

next week looks like TOJ, bet we get confirmation of R+L=J, and I bet Melisandre's faith is reinvigorated when she realizes it was Snow in her visions and J = Azor Ahai

You think they'll confirm R+L=J that quick? I figured we'd build up to that through bran's flashbacks. We saw Ned and his brothers and sister as kids..  And I know they did a flashback sequence at the tower of joy.  I thought they'd have a few more in between before the big reveal

I could see them ending the episode with Lyanna saying, "promise me Ned" as she holds a baby- so all but confirm it for book readers but maybe not for pure show watchers

I don't think this show is going to "slow-burn" anymore.   With the reports of making the last 2 seasons even shorter, they really can't, especially with so many characters.   Showing Jon come back that fast is evidence of this.

Few random thoughts...

I can't wait till the sparrow dies. I would also like to see the Mountain tangle with a giant (doubt it's gonna happen). Will the Hound show up this season? And am I the only one who is mad they brought back Snow?

I'm not mad that they brought him back.  I'm not sure if you read the books or not, but they brought back other people in the books that they left out of the show so we sort of knew it was coming.

On a completely unrelated note, Davos is quickly moving up the ranks of my favorite characters:  "I've never been much of a fighter....apologizes for what you're about to see."

Naw I didn't read the books, but the way everyone was predicting Snows returning I saw it coming.

I tend to pull for the "bad guys". Love me some Cerci. Any who it's shaping up to be a great season.

In that case, Littlefinger should be your favorite character
