The Exam dream

You guys get this one?

I haven't had it in awhile. Usually still get it maybe once every other month.

Last night really sucked. I had to design a really complex mass transit grid, complete with buses and trains, infrastructure, lots of calculations....

I completely blew it, I think, but I wouldn't even know it if i did. Good thing I'm not a civil engineer.

And for that matter, why in hell was I even taking that particular test?

Might have been the Sodor Thomas the Tank Engine labyrinth I was building with my son before bed.

I think this is nerd PTSD.

Real hero studs have flashbacks of storming the beaches of Normandy.

I get the sweats from unpreparedness for test taking.

My recurring dream was always being unprepared for the big game

I'd get all dressed for the game but be missing a shin guard or couldn't find my helmet etc

those dreams really fug with my head

I have this and mine is I brought the away uniform for the home game.

I used to have the test dreams alot, and had one pretty recently. Mostly they have been replaced by the waiting tables dreams. I had one last week, first time in a year probably. And I waited tables over 20 (damn!) years ago. Some stuff just sticks with you I guess.

Never, ever had this kind of dream...

My "weird" dreams are usually of being in a fight and physically not being able to hit the person... like my arms won't do it...

I have dreams like that too. Makes me so mad because I'll be wanting to knock the poo out of somebody but can't!! :mad5:

Don't really have test dreams per se.

The one that makes me wake up with shivers (non-military related) is the one where I am at a party and somebody hands me a joint or a tray with coke and I partake.

I don't do drugs anymore and it would dearly cost me and the family if I did so it bounce up cursing myself.

As for the other ones, for some reason the ghosts come to play/fug with my mind only when I am sick or running a fever. Wierd.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
