The Stay Is Back On

They are listening to some legal council chirping in their ear. This would have been done ages ago if they just sat in a room and hashed it out without any external influence.

Kinda hard to do that when the NFLPA rep is a lawyer.

This is what happens when you let fuging lawyers into good things. They fug it up then blame the other party.

First the gov.

Now the NFL.

They are the ones that opted out of the CBA. It's ALL their fault. DERRRP!!

.

That's sarcastic I hope.

NFLPA told the players 2 years ago to save money to prepare for a lockout. They took votes before last season was even over about whether to decertify or not. Players walked away from the negotiating table and decertified instead of working out a deal. They could of agreed to an extension to the deadline. Players are threatening some serious changes to how the NFL operates in their lawsuit. Players believe they should have a right to see the owners books yet dismiss Green Bays books as proof.

Owners opted out of the CBA which both sides had the right to do so. Owners refused to give 10 years of audited books to verify the need for an extra bil off the top. Owners may have been condescending to the players at the table. Owners have gambled how the NFL operates by opting out of the CBA knowing the NFLPA would use the sham of a defense of decertifying if no deal was made.

So like I said, both sides can kiss my a$$. Neither sides have earned my trust, loyalty, or my money.

    • I never thought a second look was even necessary. I was begging the football gods not to have us trade up to the 1st pick. And damn once we did it was a thoroughbred vs a little pony.    If you have a perceived generational player in the pool and you have the 1st pick, you just don’t trade it. In the first place. But all this Bryce drama - which (understandably) takes over almost any thread, just like this one - would never have happened if the team was not sold to Tepper.
    • I agree. I understand why he did though. And surely he had his parents in his ear who have always gone out of their way to make sure he always had the best and the least amount of adversity around him to that point in his life advising him to do so. Where I take the most issue with it is when people who just want to be sycophants start listing off other QB's who didn't throw at the combine and you don't even make it through half the names before your eyes roll right into the back of your head realizing every single of those QB's who didn't throw already clearly showcased the necessary prerequisite physical talents needed for the position.
