Clausen had a very good Junior season in a more traditional offense. To try and compare the things Clausen and Cam did is idiotic at best.

I'm sick of defending Clausen but it's the truth.

When you look deeper into the numbers, neither Cam nor Jimmy were that impressive.

You still can't deny that Cam is infinitely more athletic than Jimmy. As a result, he is going to be able to extend plays. Jimmy sits in the pocket and gets crushed.

i agree, talent on paper isn't enough....exactly why I referenced their resumes.

Clausen - nothing, losing record and never beat anyone.

Cam - undefeated in toughest conference and won a National Championship.

All Clausen was when drafted was a fairly average QB on paper....who had no resume. Shouldn't a surprise what occured last year.
