Jason La Confora said he sees us as one of the more sucessful teams this year with a rookie QB.

Yea just heard that as well. He's one of the only guys out there that actually looks past the 2-14 record to project where we might be this coming year.

Yeah the other analyst tried to diss us, but he put him in his place.

Burney's a Panther!??!!? NO way?!

For some reason I thought Foxy out in Denver drafted him late in the draft... No?

That kid is a flat out athlete. I remember playing his baseball team back in the day (Greensboro Batting Center...Dustin Ackley and a bunch of top prospects played on that team) we actaully beat them for the NC AAU State title the year they won the AAU national title. But Kendric Burney robbed me of a 400ft home run at the Hickory Crawdad's stadium when I was 16...everyone thought is was gone and he jumped up and snagged it off the wall.... crazy. I'll never forget that hit (well, out)

    • Yeah, I thought he played better the 2nd half of the season also. That being said, he definitely got picked apart in the playoff game and only got the INT in the other Rams game because of DB deflecting the ball at the LOS
    • I think that's good value. I'm in the minority, but I actually thought Nick Scott played pretty well the 2nd half of the year, minus the Rams playoffs game. Hopefully he isn't our starting FS next year and can be backup FS and be the special teams contributor he should have been since day 1 from us.
    • I still think Sadiq has too many red flags to take with our 1st round pick. We are talking about a guy that averaged 40 yards/game, despite having a spread offense that is easy to produce yards in with Oregon + a Heisman caliber QB. You can have all the straight line speed and vertical in the world - if you don't know how to run routes, read zone defenses, and use your body to body up defenders to make contested catches, you aren't going to be great in the NFL. His athleticism does not show up on tape at all for me and I don't see him being successful as an inline tight end. If we are going to take a chance on tight ends that disappointed in college that probably can't be an inline TE, I would much rather use a pick on Klare in the 3rd round.
