There are two images of Panthers getting crushed by individual players that I'll never forget. One was Walter Jones making Mike Rucker look like he weighed 90 lbs. in the NFC Championship Game where he blocked him straight back for a constant 25 yards and then threw him down. The other was a Giants running back beating us in OT in 2008 by trucking Hayden and sending him out of the back of the end zone. So that's a solid 10 yards he flew back.

That may be the play I'm remembering. He literally landed on his back and I remember a RB plowing through...

He is not as bad as everyone is making him out to be, he still blows, but not as bad as everyone thinks. He provides depth, but he will never be starting material. We still have to grab someone else.

Say what you want, but he was actually the second best defensive tackle on the Panthers roster last year behind Derek Landri. Now I know that is not saying much with the way we performed last year but his stats are definitley back-up material if one of the starters was to go down.

Last year he had 31 tackles, 20 solo tackles, 11 assists, 1 sack, 1 stuff, 2 stuff yards, and 1 pass defended. He deserves to be on a roster, just not a starter on a roster.
