This is not a slam against COC, but why would someone who could afford to go almost anywhere, indeed someone who could probably afford to buy a college somewhere, go to a relatively small east coast college? Does she have relatives who went there?

Most people like yourself are naive to Charleston, which is a really good thing and what makes CofC such a well kept secret. ....I am typing this post while sitting outside on the back deck of the Windjammer, Isle of Palms. There are a ton of celebs who either have a house here, or vacation frequently. A couple years ago, I gave Rick Pitino's daughter a tour of the campus.

....as far as Brent Carved daughter, indeed she did go to CofC, and she failed out her sophmore year.....

Its not a matter of being naive. My cousin went to College of Charleston, and I use to spend summers in Santee with my Aunt and Uncle. Went to Charleston quite a bit, and I know a little bit about the area.

If I was Miley Cyrus, I would be going to Berkley, or Stanford, or even Vanderbilt (since she is originally from that area). But then, maybe she can't qualify for those schools.

That would be my guess. (That she doesn't qualify.) Somehow, with her parents, I don't see her being a Rhodes Scholar, or Phi Beta Kappa material.

they don't let retards into the fancy schools.....also an Ivy League education ain't appealing to everyone.

      Yea, its a awful year for COY there's like 5 coaches Id as a  non-panther fan say are more worthy than Dave. Ben Johnson is doing similar to Dave by taking a yearly loser into a winner, but da bears are what 9-10 wins right now. Liam Coen has the fuging jags at 9-4 with similar talent to Panthers, I mean they drafted before them this pass year and had nearly zero from a guy they traded up for @#2 hunter.  ugh....Sean Payton&vance has the broncos as the current #1 seed in the AFC..... you know the broncos before the year starts you have the chiefs with mahomes&reid and chargers with herbo&harbs. No one had broncos winning there nor as a the #1 overall seed.  Mike Macdonald has the Seahawks at 10-3 compare that to Panthers 7-6, they are in a blood bath against Rams and 49ers.....shanny has half the team on IR with a 9-4 record.  Chargers are 9-4 with no OL and not much on D.  I have even put colts above Dave and the Panthers, if not for Danny injury...they were on the way and playing great. Just soooooooooooo many HC deserving this year and still more games, but Dave has over played this year for sure. I had them at a firm 2 win team, with 4 being the maybe and 7?!?!?!? being the everything goes right 7 wins is possible given the shitty NFC south.

      Just try to enjoy it for what it is. I don't need to convince myself that Young is good. He isn't. If this team makes the playoffs with the cinder block of Young dragging them down all season, even better.  But, some crucial things still need to happen, and being close, and moral victories, and at-least-they-tried isn't good enough.
