Captain will get destroyed against big, physical WRs.

Not gonna matter when the opposing QB has no time to throw and can only muster out a wobbly pass. But yes this is a serious concern. The late picks in our draft are starting to not look so good cuz thats the only thing we could have relied on at this point.

If we're gonna be playing a lot of zone, then it wouldn't make much sense to sign Cromartie to a huge contract anyway.

Negative. Its gonna be lots of man coverage with lots of blitzing. Also lots of corner blitzes, captain won't cut it.

Didn't really expect him to be coming here anyway...

If we do end up going after a cornerback, realistically I think it would be between Carlos Rogers (Just because he is one of if not the most notable and talented cornerback left in the free agency class), Kelvin Hayden (Has experience under defensive back's coach, Ron Meeks), or Dimitri Patterson (Has experience under defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.

But that's just my opinion.

      I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
