What most of you guys fail to understand is..

This team is learning a NEW SYSTEM with an entirely new coaching staff that is bringing a brand new philosphy to the team. Think of the old style panthers offense and defense as a walkman and this new system as an ipad. It's gonna take time for this team to learn all the new features, menus and options, instead of in years past all they had to learn was how to press play, stop and pause.

Nevermind the off-season was weeks instead of months.

Nevermind we have had some key injuries due to a lack of strength and conditioning.

Nevermind we are playing with rookies in key positions.

We're just gonna run around and cry and scream and say the end of the Panther's universe is near

I will say it looked entirely liked the old offense but its coo. I just hope this new offense teaches the QB how to throw an accurate pass more than 30% of the time.

He made some accurate throws that were completed....I'd say 49.234799%

Most of the criticism of this team has nothing to with learning a new system but more on fundamentals and the lack of talent.

I think everyone understands we had an overhaul this season in the coaching department.

If they didn't have talent they wouldn't be in the nfl.

New players, new coaches, new system. We aren't gonna go from 2-14 to 12-4 in one season. This is going to take time. Everyone calm down. Yeah, we sucked dong last night, but it's still early. I doubt we've ran our actual offense once this preseason. Delo will get more carries when it matters, more pressure will be taken off the QB (whoever it is) and it will open up the passing game more.

As far as the defense, they are learning a new system too. But that was disgrace. Looked horrible on every level. I highly doubt we perform that badly again.

So Everette Brown is struggling because of the new system not because he isn't big enough to shed blockers, gotcha.

Mistakes based on learning a new system would fall more along the lines of being out of position or making mental mistakes. Cam is making a lot of the right decisions, it is just coming to down to some of his mechanics.

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
