What is really our problem?

Look at all these other young QBs out there. Gabbert, McCoy, Bradford..Hell even Chase Daniels from MU went 9-18 191 yds, 2tds. You mean to tell me that every one of our QBs just suck? I believe Cam AND Clausen could be just as good as any one of these young QBs in the league. We need to quit focusing on the QBs looking like poo. Ok, probably a BS post. I have been up since 2 AM working on an fugging firewall issue that has about 1200 users stranded.

The RG getting pushed and slammed back into the QB 2 seconds after the snap doesn't help much.

most teams that get a new staff and install a new offensive scheme look like crap heading into a season........and we got less time to install ours than traditionally teams have.

That is the biggest reason.

2nd reason.......a flaw left over from Fox. Passing league and our "great OL" is built to be a great run blocking team not a great pass blocking team.

Our lines on both sides simply aren't that good. That is a bigger flaw than Cam

One thing about our OLine though, is when was the last time we had all our guys healthy for most of the season?!

Lot of problems: new coach, new system, fraction of normal prep time, new system with new concepts for Cam, poor OL play(right side), WR's that can't get separation, poor throwing mechanics, etc.

even when Otah comes back......pass blocking isn't his specialty. He is a beast of a run blocker.

Team was built to play the style of football played 20 years ago under Fox. No young QB is going to succeed until the OL upfront can give standard NFL pass protection. A QB like Cam is the only one who has a shot at having decent success....but his passing isn't going to drastically improve until he can be given more opportunites to sit back and make some throws w/o defenders impacting the overwhelming majority of attempts.

1. We aren't very talented at two very important important areas.

O line and D Line.

2. We aren't nearly at "talented" as a football team as many fans (especially on here) would like to believe.

3. Our biggest "pools" of talent are at positions that aren't very important as far as winning games consistently as some other positions. (RB and LB, as opposed to QB and DL)

Cam can't throw just say it and we use to be deep we spent a lot of unnecessary money on a rebuilding team

I read this on another site

To tight ends he is 12 of 17. He has chucked more than a few bombs to Greg Olsen and the two have connected for some astonishing plays. To wide receivers he’s 4 of 26. WTF.

If it's truthful then maybe one of u couch coaches or experts can explain why Cam throws to the tight end is way better than the WRs? Maybe there lies one of the major problems.

Smitty has lost a step and cant consistantly get open anymore, the rest of our WR's really arent that good, a porous o line and finally inexperienced qb's. It isnt any great mystery.
