I think some people use the word secretary as derogatory. I would think most people would prefer 'assistant'.

It's kind of like calling a flight attendant a stewardess. Get your ass tossed from a plane these days. They don't even make sammiches anymore. Pour a coke and throw you a mini-bag of peanuts. Miss the days when women had derogatory titles and performed remedial tasks like airplane sammich making.

I am in residential sales. But only work for developers, never in the "general broker" market.

When I finish my GC will start building homes to either sell for profit or keep and start a rental business.

Considering getting my HVAC as well and letting my father run that business while I handle the real estate and building side.

You in Wrightsville Beach? You know a guy in the business named John Russ?

It seems others are longing for those days, too ... seen the commercials for "Pan Am" and "The Playboy Club"? Guess the reintroduction of tough girls a la "Charlie's Angels" and some of the new tough-cop gals is getting to some.

Local Sales Manager for a Spanish Media Group in Charlotte. We got 3 radio stations and a newspaper. Basically if u want to reach out to the Spanish community I'm the guy. The horrible thing is that we have a Mexican Independence Day festival this Sunday. Its always the opening game of the Panthers but luckily I'm working the morning shift. 15,000 Mexicans at Mcalpine Creek Park. Come on by

So Cinco de Mayo is just a scam to sell more Corona and mexican food? I thought May 5 was Mexican independence day. I feel hoodwinked and bamboozled but I am so addicted to delish queso dip that I am already over it.

If it wasn't on Sunday I'd be all over it. Gonna be some good food and music I bet.

Cinco de Mayo is more an American invention than a Mexican holiday. A few Mexican towns celebrate it for holding off the French military. But nationwide... no. Kinda like expecting to "Remember the Alamo" in Vermont.

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
