Mr Scot Appreciation thread

It's good to see Mr Scot posting again... was a bit there I was worried about him, and sad that this forum was without his insight!

I was worried about me for a while there too

Was recently reminded that for several months out of the early part of this year, I was sometimes so weak I could barely walk. Good friends helped me through that time. Wouldn't want to relive it, but it was a learning experience.

Wise old man

I used to be young and foolish. I'm not young anymore :sosp:

As someone who has read Mr. Scot's contributions on various internet boards dating back to, well, the beginning..... I endorse this thread.

I remember back in the old days when we posted on AOL message boards and carried cell phones in suitcases because batteries weighed 28 lbs......

I actually, when drunk enough, can convince other drunks that it was Mr. Scot, NOT AL GORE, who invented the interwebs.

I remember back when all we had were wood-burning computers.

Again, thanks to everyone for the kind words

Damn, Scottie. If you're old, then I'm old.

Anyway, I appreciate most of your insights, and they are mostly informative, if not entertaining. To be honest, I was a little perturbed---if not disturbed---by your attitude on the whole Newton-Nawrocki-Moon thing, but nobody's perfect.

Anyway, I had to come and give you some props, because when Lady P speaks, I listen.

Mr.Scot did have this weird attitude..or does..about Cam which has an odd bit of venom with it.. its cool.

After some research I found that Cecil Newton(Cam's Dad) was accused of stealing Mr.Scots' Commodore 64 with floppy disc drive when he was a moderator for the Charlotte Hornets message board.

Mr. Scot, Kell-E-Tra-Puking and KingRex69 used to flame all noobs..but called them suka MCs back in 89...some great times..

Also his review of Berry Gordy's "The Last Dragon" was awesome!

Who's the Master?...Mr. Scot!

Reality was I didn't want any of this year's QB crop at the #1 spot because I think next year's pool has way better prospects. Newton generated the most discussion, but I didn't want Gabbert, Mallett, Locker or any of the others either (nor did I want Clausen the year before).

But the picks are made, so now we have to hope for the best. Luckily, I've got plenty of practice getting behind draft picks I thought were a bad idea (been doing it since 1995).
