ESPN Power Rankings Week 1

No problem with where we're ranked. We've got a lot of weaknesses(having a game like that from Newton and still losing proves that), but the Colts not being ranked #32 is a damn joke. They have a pathetically bad defense, the worst starting QB in the league, and a clueless head coach. They might as well let Peyton do the coaching from the sideline because he has more talent/creativity in his pinky than Jim Caldwell.

No one should expect a ton of movement from pre-season to week 1 power rankings. The thing about Week 1 is while some teams look awful and some look great, you don't want to read too much into anything either way just yet.

I understand that but to low ball the Bills all the while ranking the Cards at 16 smacks of cluelessness.

Yeah thats right, cluelessness:p

But the Cards moved up 5 spots by beating the so called "worst" team in the league by 7 points.

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one
    • "If you could change any one instant in Carolina Panther history, ... just ONE, ... what would it be? Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
    • The Patriots win the 2015 AFC Championship game.
