J Stew looked great in the passing game

On some of the screens and dump offs, I was very impressed with his ability to make people miss. I think of him primarily as a power back, but he is pretty agile.

Both our backs did pretty terrible, but I think we should keep him involved with the passing game, hes playing much better than Williams anyway.

Hopefully he can stay healthy, it sucks not being able to use Goodson much, but the way injuries are going, its good to have 3 capable backs.

Maybe not the next Brian Westbrook but we do need to use the RBs on screens and in the flats a lot more. It has proven to be very effective especially since now the defense has to be scared of Cam throwing it deep so everything underneath will be open.

Stewie's problem is he falls down when he gets into the open field and there's no contact.

Maybe we can get him to become Matt Forte. Forte is a great runner, but even better with the passing game.

Stewart has looked very good in the passing game and even better blocking the blitzer in pass protection. I have no problem if Stewart catches 800 yards of passes and runs for another 500 yards. After all yards are yards. As long as we can still pick up third and short running the ball, it is all good.

If Fox had used screens to push back defenses some, he might still be here.

We'd have never known what kind of receiving threat Stewie could be under Fox.

I'm impressed with the delayed screens that wait until the blitz is over before the Rb heads out to get some yardage.

Yeah, i like some of the playcalls that gets our playmakers in space, and helps slowdown the defense from rushing newt.

I am 90% boner over our general playcalling on both sides of the ball.

The other 10% is failing to use stew or goodson in the redzone.
