Could Cam make the Pro Bowl this year...

ROTY? Yes. Pro Bowl? We're talking about a conference with Brees, Rogers, Ryan, Freeman, Vick, Romo the Homo, Eli Manning, and even Sam Bradford could be thrown into that mix. Easy to say he has competition

He's leading every single one of those guys in passing, and I think rushing too, atm.

Eli couldn't hold Cam's jock strap. And Sam, Freeman....pfft by the time Cam's done with his first season, they're going to look like bad deals.

Romo has a broken rib and punctured a lung. May want to hold off on that one.

The pro bowl fan vote is split between die hard fans who vote for the team they root for and the casual fan who just votes for the names they've heard a lot. A majority of knowledgeable football fans don't unbiasedly vote for the pro bowl.

In the NFC the "marque" names are Rogers, Vick, Romo and Manning. As far as coverage, if you were to just watch ESPN and listen to nationwide sports talk Cam is a bigger name than Freeman and Bradford and maybe to a lesser extent Ryan. If Cam starts to win games around the time pro bowl voting starts and continues to have the same media coverage and gaudy stats it wouldn't surprise me. I'm not worried about ROY or probowl or anything right now, it'd be cool but I'm concerned with our team winning games. At the same time its not out of the realm of possibility that Cam make it as an alternate.

Not with a -1 TD/INT ratio.

Most important stat in terms of getting all that glitters in the NFL, even though it's silly.

This post would make a valid point if you changed "ratio" with "difference." Ratio would be 5/4 in terms of TD/INT (3/4 passing, I know I know). Valiant effort though.

Vince Young made the Pro Bowl as a rookie.. Cam surely can. I think popularity alone will get him over Freeman, Ryan, and Bradford. Brees or Rodgers will make the super bowl, so one of them will be out. Vick and Romo will be on the IR.

It could end up looking like all 3 NFC Pro Bowl Qbs could be from our division.

It's not as far-fetched as some might think.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
