Draft picks on Defense will not remarkably improve it.

Unless Suh comes out again I dont see a starting DT in the 2012 draft atm.

Assuming Gettis recovers, I doubt we will spend a 1st or 2nd on a receiver. More than likely, we pick up something on defense. A dt or a cb, or even a linebacker if we are worried than Beason might not come back.

Don't forget TD. Our D is in a WORLD of pain right now.

The title of the thread said deep threat, not future no. 1, and Gettis fits that description. And Dwayne Bowe today: 7 catches, 128 yds, 2 TDs. That's not "meh" production.

Gettis has great speed, but after an acl tear regaining his speed may or may not be a problem. Also there's also the chance of him re-tearing it.

If im not mistaken Rivera said someone had to step up and take the number 2 wr spot in training BEFORE Gettis even got hurt so why is everybody so sure on him?
