My career goal is to be one of the greatest running backs in the NFL. You definitely have to be versatile today—run, block and catch. I have respect for all my fellow running backs throughout the league. I look at their game to see if I can learn from them. I respect Minnesota’s Adrian Peterson just because he’s a beast. In the off-season, I met St. Louis’ Steven Jackson at the Nike Sports Complex. Given his experience and knowledge, it was great just being able to work out with him, talking and hanging out. He’s now one of the many players I keep up with.

We would be wildly more successful running the football if our coaching staff actually used dwill for the outside toss plays that require speed and evasiveness, and used jstew for all of the power plays through the middle. I still don't get how they run dwill up the gut so much even if he gets stopped for a loss or a minimal gain 90% of the time.

* although I admit there would be a degree of predictability if we used them exclusively for those purposes. But still, I would like to see Dwill utilized in more outside runs instead of inside.

The idea of dwill up the middle is speed. In the open field I'd take dwill over stewy jsut because he is faster and quicker. Stewy is for short/tough yardage, with Dwill you're trying to set him up with an open field so he can break away. Once Dwill is free he is much harder to catch than stewy.
