A Huddle History....

The Huddle has been a larger part of people's lives than some would care to admit. Some great things have come from this place. I actually now know a Canadian who has somewhat reaffirmed my belief in an entire country. One couple that I know of met because of this place and got married.

Of course it has been rife with banality as well. The I'm Bored thread comes to mind. And clayj's melt down and subsequent exodus. The meltdown and exodus of one simian posterior. Butts and flowers, thongs and........oh god.....my brain is now on fire....I am off to lovely ladies to replace the images.

What ever happened to Jester anyway?

Does anyone remember back a few years ago when, for a small fee of $400, Zod would provide us with a huddle kitten for an hour at the local motel 6?

I tell you, those Huddle kittens in real life don't look anything like their pictures.

:)

WTF, Zod charged me $500 and yes she was butt ugly.

Worse, when I called her cell phone the next day Johnny Rockets answered.

November 2011 - The Official Site of the Carolina Panthers, Panthers.com, messageboards go live. A man named AKPantherFan's VERY FIRST THREAD CREATED suggests that the fans endorse a banner remembering the 2008 playoff loss to the Arizona Cardinals, in spite of the fact that 60% of the current starters weren't even on that team. This reaffirms to Montsta that carolinahuddle.com is the superior board, because someone like that may be properly ridiculed here.

AKPantherFan is a member here and has been even before 2008. In fact, I believe he created the online petition Fans4TheLogo. With the help of this huddle including myself, we signed an online petition to get the logo on the field. It finally happened in 2008 when they announced that we'd be getting our Panthers logos on the field.

Great memories.

    • Ya'll.....look at Stafford without his feet set. This is why people in here talk about Bryce not having elite abilities mattering when plays break down. He cannot make these kind of throws with his base not being set.
    • Pretty much going to play each other the same way.  Stop the run let the bad QB try to win the game. It will come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes.
    • From the Charlotte Observer   1. quarterback Bryce Young has yet to earn a road win this season, and the third-year former overall No. 1 pick is 1-15 on the road as a starter for his career — which is tied for the worst record over 16 games in NFL history. 2. The Jets, meanwhile, haven’t won a game yet. But even still it’s tough to pinpoint their identity. 3. They’ve lost four of their six games by a single score — three games by two points, specifically.  4. Quarterback Justin Fields has flashed his propensity for playmaking at times this year — with the exception of his Week 6 performance where he only threw for 45 yards passing — and Breece Hall is a undeniably good lead running back having a solid year statistically.   5. The Jets’ team rankings aren’t too ugly either.     Their defense, specifically. That unit is ninth in third-down conversion rate (36.4%) and 10th in opponent passing yards per game (200.5).   Their Achilles heel to date, it appears, is their turnover margin (-1.2, 31st in the NFL).
