there is no comparing a healthy otah with bell.

if he's healthy and his head is in it....otah>>>>>>>bell.

only problem is that otah can't be counted on to be healthy pretty much ever and his head isn't in the game.

we shouldn't be relying on either going into next year. OT has to be addressed. we have to find a starter. best place to find one is in the first round of the draft. any other place is either too much of a crap shoot or waaaaaaaaaayyyy too expensive.

i'd like to see someone pull up a comparison between bell and otah's rookie year as far as holding calls, false starts, QB hits and pressures allowed as well as sacks allowed.

It'd be tough to get much out of those stats, as Bell is blocking for a rookie QB in a first year offense, under a first year head coach on a team that went 2-14 last year and was expected to do nothing. As oppose to 2008 when we had one of our best teams in franchise history.

But if you take away Bell's first few games, I would bet that the stats would be at least comparable.

According to a lot of NFL information I have read from magazines, online articles, ect. Otah is one of the top players at his position. Now he hasn't hardly played these past few years and his injuries could have changed his game but when healthy Otah is good. The problem is he is never on the field so he doesnt do us much help. I think Bell is doing a great job but he isnt the force Otah is. I also don't know if Bell is the answer long term for the position. I know the guy is doing well for a rookie but could we do better? I think so. For the price though he is worth keeping. You can never have enough depth at O-line and it helps to have back-ups who can play well enough to be the starter if needed.

I really hope that Otah can be our starter but I don't think that he will be in the NFL much longer because of his health.

Otah is done. I know for a fact that he doesn't want to play for us anymore and he told a few coaches he would rather ride the bench than to play for us. He's definitely done after this year.

You come on here and say something like that, you better be ready to back it up.

Give us something that says you aren't full of crap, or you deserve whatever you get.
