Unbiased website. Newton vs Tebow

I'd obviously take Cam. I'd take him now and I'd definitely take his potential for the future (although I do think The Golden Calf of Bristol might be developing into a servicable passer even if he'll never carve someone up like Manning or Rodgers).

But it's undeniable that The Golden Calf of Bristol has a certain "it factor" at the end of games. After only his 2nd comeback win I suggested somewhere else that The Golden Calf of Bristol might pioneer a new position:

Football Closer

Now it only seems more possible. Imagine if The Golden Calf of Bristol was on the Cowboys and they put him in for the last 8 minutes of every game. If he played like he's played for the Broncos they would only have 1 loss (when they got blown out by the Eagles).

    • You must be one of these "one move away guys."
    • ESPN has a whole is just hot takes and the dumbest takes possible. That is why it sucks so badly. They intentionally drag everything down to a lightspeed retarded level so that it is unwatchable. No jounalism, no nuance, no in depth analysis....just idiot after idiot blabbering/shouting about some hot button issue that they really have no real strong opinions about until the camera is rolling.
    • Young is the overwhelming priority. We have ample time on them and it's far easier to pivot at WR than QB. Remember that 2026 is year 4 for Bryce. That is 5th year option decision time and also the prime time to attempt to regain resources if a pivot is made. The odds of gaining any assets in a trade afterwards plumment very rapidly(all this depending on performance, obviously). At the end of that cycle, now we are likely in a $45+ million territory for him to remain.  So that decision trumps all others by a mile when it comes to personnel.
